Selenite (Hearts)
Selenite is a crystallized form of gypsum, named for Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. These hearts are hand-carved from a single piece of satin-spar selenite with an "Om" symbol etched into the face. The stone has a soft, silky sheen and a fibrous internal structure that catches light like a lit wick.
Meaning & Properties
Selenite is one of the primary light activators and cleansing stones. It clears and cleanses the aura, the heart chakra, and any stone placed on or near it, which is why most crystal practices keep a selenite slab or piece within reach. Holding selenite in the left hand often brings a fast, clean movement of energy up to the heart. Useful when the day has accumulated weight you don't want to carry into sleep. The heart form, paired with the Om symbol, makes this a natural meditation companion for practices centered on peace, harmony, and releasing self-judgment.

Care
Never soak selenite in water. It will dissolve. Cleanse by moonlight or sound only. Wipe dust with a dry, soft cloth. Selenite is self-cleansing, so it rarely needs clearing itself.
