Selenite (Palm Stones)
Selenite is a crystallized form of gypsum (hydrated calcium sulfate), typically colorless to white with a silky fibrous luster. Named for Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, it is one of the softer crystals used in practice and one of the most important.
Meaning & Properties
Selenite is the master cleanser. It doesn't hold energy the way most crystals do — it channels and releases it — which is exactly why it clears the aura, clears a room, and clears other stones without ever needing to be cleansed itself. A palm-sized piece is a practical cleansing tool: held over the body, it moves stagnant energy out; placed on an altar, it lifts the overall frequency of the space. A primary daily-practice stone for anyone who works with crystals, energy, or clients.
Best For
Auric field cleansing · Charging other crystals · High-vibration meditation · Clearing stagnant energy in a room
About This Listing
You'll receive one polished selenite palm stone, approximately 2 to 3 inches and 2 to 4 ounces. Most pieces are milky white with subtle fibrous striations; some show fully translucent chatoyant windows where the mineral grain catches the light. Yours will be intuitively selected from our current stock.
Care
Cleanse by moonlight or sound. Do not rinse or soak. Selenite is soft (Mohs 2) and water-soluble — even brief water contact will pit or dissolve the surface. Handle gently; it chips more easily than quartz-family stones.
