Ventifacto (Points)

Ventifacto (also spelled "ventifact") is a natural stone sculpted by wind and windblown sand over long stretches of desert time. The specimens in our shop come from Argentina, where volcanic material has been weathered smooth on the surface of the desert by the elements themselves. No two are alike; the shape is a record of the wind that made it.

Meaning & Properties

Ventifacto carries the energy of the wind and the water that shaped it, making it a powerful enhancer of intentions, clearing, and transformation. It pairs naturally with throat chakra work (the seat of expression and the lungs) and with any practice that asks you to shape reality through the words you choose. It is also the stone for people who run too earthy: too grounded, too heavy, too stuck. The wind element lifts, moves, and returns mobility. You'll receive one Ventifacto point from Argentina, approximately 3 to 5 inches at the longest dimension. Each piece is naturally wind-shaped, so contour, sheen, and color (charcoal, graphite, weathered brown) vary. Surfaces are typically smooth from aeolian polish but retain the asymmetry of a stone made by elements, not by hand. Yours will be intuitively selected from our current stock.

Care

Cleanse by moonlight, sound, or a smoke cleanse. Safe to rinse briefly in cool water. Ventifacto is a volcanic specimen and is durable in handling.
